Jeannine Marie (Savard) Lipomi, 72, of Amherst, NH passed away unexpectedly after a brief period of declining health on Friday, August 2 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH. She was the wife of William Lipomi with whom she would have celebrated their 43rd anniversary in September.
Jeannine was born on August 15, 1951, in Lowell, a daughter of the late Therese M. (L'Heureux) Savard and the late Gerard H. Savard. She was edcuated in Lowell and was a graduate of Lowell Trade School in the 1970’s. She worked as a school bus driver for 15 years with the town of Amherst, NH, which was her favorite job. She also worked as an LNA with Accucare of Manchester, NH for a number of years. Also, in her younger days she worked for over 15 years with Wang Laboratories in Tewksbury.
Mrs. Lipomi loved spending time crafting, especially knitting and crocheting. She also liked puzzles, in particular jigsaw and word searches. A devout Jehovah’s Witness she was a member of the Merrimack, NH congregation and enjoyed studying the Bible. She was outgoing and had a bubbly personality, she will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her beloved husband, William, she is survived by their children, Kristopher William Lipomi and his wife, Mary, of Whitman, and Melissa Lipomi of Newton, MA. She also leaves behind her 2 grandchildren, Elijah and Liam both of Whitman, MA and her siblings, Therese (Savard) Cooper of Manville, Rhode Island, Claire Savard of Malden, MA, and Don Savard and his wife, Gail of Pelham, NH. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews including Michelle Cooper, Catherine Evans-Cooper, Jackson Evans-Cooper and Jennifer Murphy and many others on her husbands side of the family as well. Last but not least she leaves behind her beloved cats, Mitty and Malmal.
She was also predeceased by her brother, the late Roger Savard.
