William F. “Billy”, “Junior” Meagher Jr., a life-long Medford resident died on July 15th. He was 36.
Billy was a graduate of Medford High School and worked as a painter with Pro-Tone Painting. He was a former member of the Medford Lodge of Elks and Medford’s American Legion Post.
He was the beloved son of William Meagher, Sr. of Newton and Beverly (Weir) Harrington of Medford. He was the step son of John R. Collins and John A. Harrington. He was the brother of Lisa M. Quimby and her husband Jim of Methuen, Amy M. Milano and her husband Michael of Wilmington, stepbrother of Betty Douglass of NH, Gail Powerdly of Billerica and Jane Harrington of Chicopee. He was the grandson of Peter Collura of Florida the late Bernadette Collura, Robert and Margaret Meagher. He was the nephew of Robert Meagher, Jr and his wife Evelyn, John Meagher and his wife Jane and Patricia Foubert and her husband Archie. He also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends may visit, Wednesday, from 4 – 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A Funeral Mass will be offered Thursday at 10 AM in St. Joseph Church, Medford. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
