Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in St. Ann Church, W. Bridgewater at 10 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm.
Obituary
Mrs. Beary died Monday at Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. She was born in West Bridgewater, raised and educated in Brockton, a daughter of the late John B. and Ellen B. (O’Leary) McGeary. She graduated from Brockton High School Class of 1929 and had been a resident of Brockton until 1973 when she and her husband moved to West Bridgewater. After her marriage on September 13, 1936, she became a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She and her husband were honored at St. Ann’s Church for the longest married couple which was 62 years at the time of her husband’s death. Throughout their years together they traveled all over the world. She was a member of the 20th Century Catholic Club for over 60 years and a member of their bowling league. She enjoyed listening to all types of music.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Anne Beary of West Bridgewater, a son, Dr. Robert F. Beary and his wife Mary (Callahan) Beary of Liverpool, NY, a cousin Bernard Joubert and his wife Julie of Hingham and a godchild, Mary Margaret (King) O’Connor of Middleboro.
