Nola Mae Bell Rogers, 74, of Blue Ridge passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2002, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta. Her funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2002, in the Chapel of Finch-Cochran Funeral Home in Blue Ridge with the Rev. Roger Beck officiating. A graveside funeral service was held for Mrs. Rogers at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2002, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where she was laid to rest.
She had lived in the Blue Ridge area most of her life; and she was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Blue Ridge.
Mrs. Rogers is survived by her husband, Bernard L. Rogers of Blue Ridge; two sons, Roger R. Jones of Blue Ridge and Harold L. Jones of Norcross; three brothers, Lake Bell, Olen Bell and Ezra Bell, all of the Pleasant Hill Community; two sisters, Edna Walker of Washington, Ohio and Ruth Robinson of Blue Ridge; one granddaughter, Laura Ann Burger; one grandson, Trevor Jones; and one great-granddaughter, Alexandria Lynn Matheson.
