Cynthia "Cindy" Lee Cavenaugh Rhodes, 45, of Tifton passed away Thursday, August 29, 2002, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A graveside funeral service was held for Mrs. Rhodes at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2002, at Tift Memorial Gardens, where she was laid to rest.
Wesley Belk, Dennis Reese, Darrell McKee, Glen McKee, Craig Howell, Mike Howell, Donnie Childers and Gerald Copeland served as pallbearers.
Born May 17, 1957, in Tift County, Mrs. Rhodes was the daughter of the late John Wilder Cavenaugh and Lois Dixon Cavenaugh. She was the owner of MiLady Bakery in Tifton; and she was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Rhodes is survived by her husband, Chip Rhodes of Tifton; one son, Kyle Rhodes of Athens; one daughter, Kayla Rhodes of Tifton; one brother, Phil Cavenaugh of Tifton; and two sisters, Patricia Metts of Tifton and Diana Cavenaugh of Aiken, South Carolina.
