Obituary

James D. Mulverhill, 67, of 8 Foster Street, died Friday, July 21, at home after an illness.

He leaves his wife of 47 years, Joan A. (Barney) Mulverhill; a son, Scot J. Mulverhill of Webster; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Robin A. and Norman P. Duclos of Webster, Judy L. and Frederick W. Reeks, Jr. of Oxford and Holly M. and John V. Picchioni, Jr. of Webster; 3 brothers, Robert Mulverhill, Lee Mulverhill, Jr. and Patrick Mulverhill; 3 sisters, Nancy Pritchard, Jeannette Pritchard and Sylvia Hostler, all of Malone, NY; 9 grandchildren; Ryan, Amanda, Mathew, Ashley, Frederick III, Brandon, Cody, Hannah and Lily; nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a daughter Tammy Lynn in 1962, by 2 brothers, Richard and Jackson Mulverhill, and by 3 sisters, Elsie Lane, Betty Marshall and Patricia Pritchard.

He was born and raised in Malone, NY, a son of Lee and Josephine (Lamica) Mulverhill, Sr. He graduated from Franklin Academy in Malone in 1958. He lived in Webster since 1964.

He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam Era.

Mr. Mulverhill first worked for Deary Brothers in Dudley, and then was a forklift operator at Cranston Print Works Company. He retired due to illnesses after being the manager of the Webber Lumber in Oxford in 1997.

He was a member of the United Church of Christ, Federated. He enjoyed fishing and reading, and was an enthusiastic New York Yankees fan.

The funeral will be held privately. Public calling hours will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, July 24, in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street. Donations in his name may be made to the Webster Ambulance Squad, 67 Thompson Road, Webster, MA 01570
