Frances Mae Hester, 94, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2002, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A graveside funeral service was held for Miss Hester at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2002, at Eldorado Baptist Church Cemetery, where she was laid to rest. The Rev. Judy White officiated.
Born May 26, 1908, in Emmerson, Miss Hester was the daughter of the late John Harrison Hester and Della Williams Hester. She was a homemaker; and she was of the Baptist faith.
Miss Hester is survived by five nieces and their husbands, Betty H. Williams of East Point, Virginia and Lamar Jones and Myrtle Jones and Lucy and Harold Barnes, all of Tifton and Wylene West of Cleveland, Ohio; and two nephews and their wives, Lennon Jones and Raymond and Betty Jones, all of Tifton.
