In Poland she was a cleric in City Hall, and while in the United States she worked for many years in environmental services at UMass Memorial Hospital. She was an incredibly strong-willed and energetic woman with an unrelenting drive to improve the lives of the people around her. To her, love meant making sure that those she cared about were being taken care of, whether that was through a warm conversation, sharing a homemade meal, or a trip to the store together. She was a woman of faith and rooted in selflessness, creating friendships and spreading her compassion throughout her congregation, her workplace, and the local Polish community.
