Mary C. Morra, 102, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at Warde Senior Living in Windham, NH. She was born on May 30, 1922, in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of the late Sylvester and Martha (Fazio) Stallone. Mary spent 22 years in New York before moving to Revere, MA, followed by 21 years in Wildwood, FL. Mary more recently resided in Derry, NH for 15 years.
For over 35 years, Mary was employed as a seamstress. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry, where she belonged to the Tabernacle Society. She also served as a Eucharistic Minister.
She is survived by her daughters, Annette Woodbury and her husband Robert of Derry, NH, Donna Hansen of Sanford, ME, and Karen McColgan and her husband William of Rutland, VT, seven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and her sister, Camille Edwards of Staten Island, NY. Mary was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Edward Morra in 2006, her son, Domenic Morra in 2000, and by her sisters, Rose Miglionico, Mae Nicosia, and Luisa O’Brien.
There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday June 21, 2024 at 10:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Derry with burial to follow at Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody, MA. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30am to 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry, NH 03038.
