Jean Marcella (Howell) Marrow passed away peacefully at her home in Woodstock, CT on Wednesday, June 12th, 2024, at the graceful age of 94.
She was born June 4th, 1930 in Brockton, MA. Jean was the second oldest of nine children, and the daughter of the late Melvin C. Howell & Dorothy Mae (Kersey) Howell. Jean married her late husband, Robert C. Marrow in 1951. The loving couple made a life together in Springfield, MA, raising their three children. Jean was a quiet, humble woman, with a gracious spirit. She enjoyed the simple things in life and never asked for much. Jean was a devoted mother who adored her family & friends; she was loved by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Jean is survived by her children: Dorothy A. Fairley, Katherine A. Marrow & Robert C. (Heather) Marrow Jr. She leaves behind her sister, Nancy C. Gurley, along with 11 grandchildren & 12 great-grandchildren. Jean is predeceased by her husband Robert C. Marrow, her parents Melvin & Dorothy Howell and 7 siblings. Jean had a gentle soul & a wonderful outlook on life. Her warmth and love will always be remembered. She will be greatly missed by us all, who will hold her deeply in our hearts forever.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Cultural, 238 Court Street Brockton Friday June 21st from 11-1 pm. Cremation to follow.
