MARLENE J. (PARSONS) CONSER, age 73, of Hingham, died on Friday, July 7th at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Born in Montpelier, Vermont, she lived in Quincy for many years before moving to Hingham 30 years ago. She graduated from Quincy High School, attended Eastern Nazarine College in Wollaston and graduated with honors from Northeastern University in Boston. Mrs. Conser retired after many years as an accountant with the Defense Logistics Agency in South Boston.
Mrs. Conser traveled all over the world and had many wonderful stories to tell her friends. She always had a smile on her face. She also was very interested in her genealogy studies.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Forest J. Conser, and two daughters; Carolyn and Susan Conser all of Hingham. She was the daughter of the late Fred "Pampy" and the late Mary (Piccioli) Parsons.
A Memorial Service will be conducted on Sunday, July 30th at 2 PM at the church where Marlene and Forest were married, The Wollaston Congregational Church, 48 Winthrop Ave., Quincy.
Visiting hours and flowers omitted by request. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the charity of choice.
The interment is to be private.
