Anthony C DeMatteo
Anthony (Tony) C DeMatteo loving husband, father and grandfather has passed away at his home on June 6, 2024 at the age of 83.
Tony was born in Boston, MA December 18, 1940.
He is survived by his loving wife Louise ‘LouAnne’ (Lassman) DeMatteo to whom he was married for 36 years.
Tony was very proud of his children; John DeMatteo and his wife Stephanie of Dover NH, Brian DeMatteo and his partner Ann Scibelli of Swampscott MA, Derek DeMatteo and his wife Michelle of Hudson NH and Danielle DeMatteo and her husband John Crain of Brooklyn NY. He was also the grandfather of Nicholas, Alicia, Dominic and Julia DeMatteo.
Tony grew up in Everett and Chelsea graduating from Chelsea High School in 1958.
Tony was well known in the in the electrical industry working 50 years for both contractors & suppliers including Chelsea Wholesale, Beacon Electrical Supply, GE Supply, Gem Peerless Supply, W.B. Stockwood, Standard Electric Supply, Rudolph Electric and retiring in 2006 from Nardone Electrical Corp.
Tony enjoyed Boston sports particularly the Bruins and Patriots with lots of texting with his sons during games. He was a great cook and hosted many family holidays and events. He loved working around the yard and enjoyed summer vacations to Cape Cod with his wife LouAnne. Tony will also be very much missed by the entire Lassman family.
A private celebration of Tonys life will be held at a later date.
