Marie-Rose Lamoureux, 95 of Cumberland Hill Rd. Woonsocket , died Thursday at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Lionel Lamoureux.
Born in Trois Rivieres, Quebec, Canada, she was a daughter of the late Gaspard and Adelaide (Therrien) Dandeneau. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Lamoureux worked as a dietician at Woonsocket Hospital for over 25 years. She was a longtime communicant of St. Joseph’s Church.
She is survived by a son, Lionel R. Lamoureux, of Woonsocket, a brother, Laurent Dandeneau, of Millville, 2 granddaughters, 1 great-grandson, and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Gloria Lamoureux, and Jeannette Lamoureux, and sister of the late Romeo Dandeneau, Conrad Dandeneau, Viatuer Dandeneau, Ferdinand Dandeneau, and Gabriel Dandeneau, and the late Grace Hull, Rosa Labonte, and Marie Dandeneau.
Her funeral will be Monday at 9:30 am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd, Woonsocket.
