John F. “Jackie” Snee, 95, of Medford, formerly of Lexington and Bedford, passed away on June 8th, 2024. He was the son of the late Bernard and Eva (Dailey) Snee. Jackie was educated in the Lexington Public Schools, St. Mary’s High School in Waltham, Burdett College and Boston University. Over the years he worked as a cost accountant for the Globe Ticket Company; as a production control manager for the W.R. Grace Company and as a property manager for the Celeste Realty Company. John served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of American Legion Post 221 in Bedford. He is survived by his sister Helen Bragdon of Medford and by his nieces and nephews, Stephen and Janice Ledbetter of Dracut, Kathleen and William Droll of Seabrook, NH and Maureen and Herb Miller of Williamsburg, VA. He is also survived by several grandnieces and grandnephews and by his friend Robert Brown of Plymouth. Along with his parents, John was predeceased by his sister, Mary Ledbetter, by his brothers, Bernard and Raymond Snee and by his dear partner and companion of many years, Margaret Baker Snee. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Friday June 14th at 9 AM followed by his Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Shawsheen Cemetery in Bedford. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the Mass on Friday only.
