Pauline E. (Hardiman) Patterson of Dedham passed peacefully at home on June 9, 2024. Pauline loved life, family, travel, and get-togethers with friends. Every day was a great day for Pauline, as her optimism and power of positive thinking were hallmarks of her character.
She was the daughter of the late Kieran and Della (Kelly) Hardiman. She was the beloved wife of 59 years to Matthew G. Patterson. Her presence will forever be in the hearts of her husband, children, and their families. She was a devoted mother to Matt and his wife Sheila of Dedham, Brian of Medfield, Mark and his wife Denisse of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Steven of Foxboro. She is survived by her brother Kieran Hardiman of Walpole and sister Dorothy Krusz of Norton. She was a beloved "Nana" to her precious grandchildren, Mason, Lindsey, Alyssa, Will, Luke, and Spencer.
Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham on Thursday, June 13 from 4-7 pm. Her funeral will be on Friday, June 14 at 9 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 10 am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment will be private.
