Obituary

Worcester - Danny W. Whitney, 36, of Worcester died on July 18 in his home after being stricken ill.

Mr. Whitney is survived by his son Danny Whitney Jr. of Worcester; his mother Darlene Whitney of Worcester; his maternal grandfather Roland Richard of Worcester; his paternal grandmother Matilda Iandoli of Sterling; a step-son Travis LaPan of Worcester; three half brothers Bo Chaffee and Shane LeBelle both of Worcester and Chance LeBelle of Manchaug and many aunts and uncles.

Mr. Whitney was born in Worcester son of the late Roland LaBelle and worked as a carpenter. Today Mr. Whitney would have celebrated his 37th birthday.

A memorial service will be held on Monday July 24 at 6:30 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Burial will be at a later date in Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Danny Whitney Jr. Trust Fund c/o Bay State Savings Bank 123 Auburn St. Auburn, MA 01501.
