Myrna Lynn Rambis
June 15, 1939-May 31, 2024
Myrna Lynn (Alumbaugh) Rambis, 84, passed peacefully on the morning of May 31st and has gone to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Myrna was born in Sullivan, Indiana June 15, 1939 to Gerald & Marion Alumbaugh. She graduated from Sullivan High School in 1957. She married William (Bill) Rambis in 1958 and moved to Anderson, Indiana shortly thereafter. Myrna worked at a variety of jobs including RCA in Marion, IN, Layman Life Insurance in Anderson, as office manager for Jim Yust Insurance in Chesterfield and a bank teller for Anderson Federal Savings & Loan. Myrna loved to sew and quilt as evident from her time working at Needle in a Haystack in Pendleton. She also worked locally as a licensed nail technician. Most importantly to Myrna, she was a longtime member of Madison Park Church of God (previously North Anderson Church of God).
Myrna will be dearly missed by her sons Timothy (Kim), Christopher (Ginger) & Scott (Misty) Rambis. Grandchildren, Nicole (Eric) Stevens, Erin Rambis, Jordan (Brian) Doll, Natalie (Lucho) Valdiviezo and Nicolas Rambis. Great grandchildren, Fisher, Ridge and Rowdy Stevens, Rosalie and Juliana McManus & Theo Doll. Also missing Myrna are her brother Mike Alumbaugh (Peggy), “honorary daughters” Lori Nickert and Aysel Latchkey along with very special friends Brenda & Jack Craig.
Myrna was preceded in death by both her parents and husband.
A memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2024 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Jim Lyon and Ron Allen officiating.
Visitation from 2-4 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Myrna's cremated remains will be interred at Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana.
