Born May 13, 1978 Jiovanny Duran passed away May 27, 2024 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, due to complications of a stroke, surrounded by his loving family. Survived by his mother Rebecca, son Christopher, grandmother Norma, brothers Joshua, Geusseppe, and Stephen, sister Johann, and his life partner Kristalee.
Jiovanny was an incredibly intelligent, caring, loyal, and creative person. He always had a smile on his face. He loved life! He loved his family and friends, nature, music, and sports... a fanatic! He spoke to everyone. "My man, did you see the game last night?"
Born and raised in NY until the age of 16, he never lost his accent, and loved NY apparel. When people would tease him about the Yankees... he enjoyed the banter. He was an avid walker. He would put his headphones on and trek. Listening to music, and admiring the World around him. Taking pictures of everything. He found beauty in all he saw. His favorite season was Fall, he loved the foliage and crisp cool air.
You are the best Jiovanny. Until we meet again. Jiovanny will forever be deeply loved and missed by all who knew him.
