Obituary

Salem: Jeannette M. (Dufault) Girard, age 82 of Salem, died unexpectedly Tuesday at the NSMC / Salem Hospital. She was the wife of the late Arthur J. Girard.
Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Anna (April) Dufault. She was at one time employed by the old Pequot Mills of Salem. With the closing of the mills in Salem, in 1954 she began working for Parker Brothers and remained with the company until her retirement in 1984. Jeannette was a member of the AARP Chapter 2454 and the Parker Bros. Quarter Century Club. She was a member of the former St. Joseph Parish and Les Dames de la Ste Famille of Salem and was currently a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Salem.
She is survived by 1 brother: Robert Dufault of Allston, 2 sisters: Rita L. Cutraro of Danvers and Alice T. Ryan of Salem, Oregon. Jeannette was also survived by many nieces and nephews, grandnieces & grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews and great-great-grandnieces and great-great-grandnephews. She was predeceased by her brother: Roger Dufault and her sister Yvonne Gray.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral on Saturday, July 22, 2006, at 9 am from the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., Salem [Rt. 114 / 1-A] followed by her funeral mass in St. John the Baptist Church, St. Peter St., Salem at 10 am. Visiting hours: Friday evening 6 to 8 pm. Burial will be in the North Beverly Cemetery, Beverly.
