Lorna J. (Barnes) LeMay, 79, of Whitman passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024. She is the beloved wife to the late Richard LeMay.
Lorna was born in Milton on July 7, 1944, daughter to the late Edson and Mary (DeVoe) Barnes. Lorna was raised in Weymouth, where she attended school and graduated from. She went on to have a successful career and worked many years for CNA Insurance in Quincy.
Some of Lorna’s favorite activities included traveling, especially into the city, shopping, dining out with friends and family, but most of all spending time with the people she loved.
Lorna is survived by her two sons, David and his wife Kim LeMay of Whitman, and Chris and his wife Ilana LeMay of Colorado. Her two grandchildren Samantha and her husband Ben Henderson, and Devery LeMay. As well as her great grandchild John and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend Lorna’s visiting hours Saturday, June 15th from 12:00-2:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s.
