Helen J. (Budzynkiewicz) Baxendale, age 95, passed away on May 22, 2024. She was born on Dec. 25, 1928 in Chicopee, daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Kopec) Budzynkiewicz. Helen worked as a tutor for the Chicopee School system for many years before she retired in 2001. She was also a tester for F.W. Syckles before they closed. She had many hobbies and was known to be a skilled graphologist. She would analyze the handwriting of everyone that met her. She was a waitress for Crestview Country Club and the Longmeadow Country Club and also belonged to the Theosophical Society in America. She is predeceased by her brothers Peter, Anthony and Edward. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara A. Baxendale - Lamy of Chicopee and Carole S. Balthazar of Chicopee and one grandson Matthew Balthazar. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Friday, June 7, 2024 from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee.
