Obituary

WORCESTER__Richard C. Taylor, 63, of Worcester, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 24, 2024. He is survived by his loving sister, Cynthia Gaines of Worcester, and his nieces Amy Taylor, Cheryl Ortiz and her husband Juan Ortiz, Deanna Taylor, Reanna Filmore and her husband Jerry Filmore, and his only nephew Jonathan Taylor and his wife Jennifer Taylor. Richard is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Frances Lemanski, his brother Keith Taylor, his nephew Bernard Taylor, and his grandniece, Shaianne Taylor.

Richard dedicated many years of his life working as a commercial fisherman and found his passion for Florida. He had a kind heart and enjoyed volunteering at St. John’s Church and assisting the homeless community. Richard received his education in the Worcester schools and served briefly in the Army, showing his commitment to serving others.

In honor of Richard's life, a private funeral service will be held.
