Obituary


Teresa E. (Brandano) Moretti, age 96, of Somerville passed away on Saturday, May 25th. Raised and educated in Malden, she was the daughter of the late George and Beatrice (Camarra) Brandano. Teresa was employed for many years as a switchboard operator for ATT, and later worked for Verizon, and lived in Somerville since 1958. Family was everything to Teresa and her greatest joy was to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Teresa was the beloved wife of the late Charles Moretti, and the devoted mother of Joyce Nolan and her husband Jim of Somerville, Butch Moretti and his wife Debra of Wilmington, and Maureen Clemons and her husband Gary of Revere. She was the loving grandmother of Derek Nolan and his wife Stephanie, Christina Moretti, Kimberly Moretti, Kyle Clemons, Cassandra Hughes and her husband Jonathan, and the late Calvin Clemons. Teresa was the cherished great grandmother of Ava, Nate and Nash Nolan, Julianna Clemons, Jayce Hughes and Jett Hughes. She was the sister of Elizabeth DeJoie of Wakefield and the late Beatrice Ryan, and is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Teresa’s family would like to offer a special thank you to her dedicated caregivers: Tina, Kelly, Margie and Patrice.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to visit in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Thursday, May 30th from 10 AM through 12 noon, with a service held in the funeral home at noon. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
