Mary M. Bolles, age 82, of Lakeville, formerly of Waltham, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday May 25, 2024 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton.
Born in Cambridge, MA on August 19, 1941, she was a loving daughter of the late Jesse H. and Margaret L. (McGrath) Bolles.
Mary grew up in Cambridge, was a1958 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Cambridge and attended Boston State Teacher’s College. Mary had made her home in Lakeville for the past fifteen years and was a former longtime resident of Waltham. Prior to retiring, she was employed as a Financial Broker for the former Keystone Financial in Boston.
A woman of deep Christian faith, Mary was a communicant of Saint Mary’s Church in Mansfield, and previously worked at Propagation of the Faith in Braintree, where she served on numerous boards throughout her career. Mary loved spending time and creating lifelong memories with her adoring family and times spent, amongst friends, in the Mission. She also received much pleasure golfing, skiing, shopping and traveling.
She was the dear sister of Edwina M. Regan of Tequesta, Florida, John H. Bolles and his wife Debbie of Ipswich and the late Paul R. Bolles. She is also survived by several generations of loving and adoring nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, June 2nd from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North main Street, Mansfield.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 3rd at 11:30 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt Street (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield.
