Michael Timothy McManus, 65, of Franklin died May 24 at his home following a long illness. He was the husband of Diane (Wheet) McManus since 1980.
Born in Binghamton, New York, June 9, 1958, the son of the late Ralph G. and Janice (Perron) McManus, Michael grew up in Framingham and had lived in Medway prior to coming to Franklin 23 years ago.
Michael had worked in sales for many years.
He was a member of the Franklin Lodge of Elks, and enjoyed antiquing, golfing, fishing, gardening and going to Cape Cod.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Kelly McManus of Franklin and Sean McManus and his partner Julie Flinchbaugh of Franklin.
He is also survived by his grandson William McManus.
Michael was the brother of Ralph McManus , Jr and his wife Sylvia of Framingham, Deborah McManus of Marlboro, and Heidi Wade and her husband Paul of Framingham.
He was the brother of the late Scott McManus.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and also his beloved dog Orion.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 7 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway
A service will be held in the funeral home at 5:00 P.M.
