FALL RIVER…Gerald Leandro, 77, of Fall River passed away on Sunday May 19, 2024, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was born in Fall River a son of the late Benjamin and Gertrude (Kitchen) Leandro. Gerald was the spouse of Cheryl (Godek) Leandro for 41 years and had lived in Fall River for over 20 years.
Gerald served in the United States Navy and had been a member of the Fall River Fire Department for 34 years. He attended Westfield State College for history.
Gerald enjoyed basketball, the beach and trips to the Caribbean.
Survivors his wife: Cheryl, brothers: Jeffrey Leandro of Dartmouth, John Leandro of Little Compton, a sister: Joyce Roncha of Shrewsbury, MA, 16 nieces and nephews, 18 great nieces & nephews.
