Lori Dean “Bugg” Bostick, 61, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Thursday, May 23, 2024, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with David Breyfogle and the Rev. Charlotte Lawrence officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, Georgia. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Bostick was born March 12, 1963, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late John R. Bostick and the late Ruth Henderson Bostick Quarles. He lived in the community all of his life and was a former heating and air technician for twenty years. He also worked in maintenance at the Ben Hill County School System for twenty years. Mr. Bostick loved his family and helping people. He loved tinkering on his antique vehicles and was always finding something to do in his yard. Mr. Bostick was always staying busy doing something.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Olivet Renee’ Breyfogle Bostick of Fitzgerald; a son, Steven Cody Bostick of Fitzgerald; a daughter, Tiffany Knight; brothers: Darryl & Sherry Bostick of Whittier, North Carolina, Terry & Linda Bostick of Tifton, Dana & Wendy Bostick of Jacksonville, Florida, Michael Galenn & Stacey Bostick of Cleveland, Tennessee; a sister, Glenda & Gary Griffin of Tennille, Georgia and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: John W. “Johnny” Bostick and Randy Bostick.
