Hollie Faye Barnes, 58, of Tifton passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2024, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Rickey Wells officiating. Ms. Barnes will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 23, 2024, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Born February 14, 1966, in Tifton, Ms. Barnes was the daughter of the late James S. Barnes and Brenda Joyce Ethredge Barnes. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Theresa Barnes Thomas. She was a shift leader at Zaxby’s in Tifton; and she was of the Baptist faith. She loved her grandkids; and she loved to read.
Ms. Barnes is survived by one daughter, Brittany Hurst of Tifton; and one sister, Wendy Barnes of Tifton.
