Evelyn Finch Dunn, 61, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2002, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2002, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Dr. Fred Evers officiating. Mrs. Dunn was laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Austin Moretz, Micah Baldwin, Darien Finch, Paul Finch, Pete Finch and Matthew Finch served as pallbearers.
Born February 29, 1940, in Greensboro, Mrs. Dunn was the daughter of the late Pete B. Finch and Lillie Bell Finch. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray T. Dunn, who passed away in 1999. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Tifton.
Mrs. Dunn is survived by one son, Sam S. Dunn of Albany; two daughters, Cynthia R. Dunn and Jill Dunn Moretz, both of Tifton; three brothers, Glenn Finch, Johnny Finch and Ronnie Finch, all of Greensboro; one sister, Conie F. Tatman of Marietta; and two grandchildren, Austin Moretz and Kadie Moretz.
