Mildred Rosella Ankron Danforth, 84, of Enigma passed away Saturday, July 20, 2002, at Berrien County Hospital in Nashville. Her funeral service was held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2002, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Jackie Connell and the Rev. Olem Bennett officiating. Mrs. Danforth was laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens.
Barry Danforth, Brent Danforth, Clayton Danforth, Derrell Danforth, Michael Danforth and Bobby Ward served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Mrs. Danforth's caregivers, Gwynette Powell, Jean Radney, Wanda Sue Bruner and Shirley Noble.
Born October 27, 1917, in Washington, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Danforth was the daughter of the late William Ankrom and Charlotte Lottie Grable Ankrom. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Glen Lester Danforth. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Washington, Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Danforth is survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
