Obituary

Conrad A. Gould, 90, of Orchard Avenue in Smithfield formerly of Avon, ME, died Saturday at Cortland Place, Greenville. He was the husband of Ethel (Berry) Gould.

He was the son of the late Charles and Anna (McKenzie) Gould. He lived in Maine prior to moving to Smithfield 7 weeks ago.

He had been a Sheriff with the Town of Phillips, Maine. He had owned and operated the Phillips Water Company, Gould Lumber Company and the Lindbergh Airport. He was a member of the Sandy River Flying Club and former member of the MA National Guard.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his step-children, Patricia F. Doyle of Greenville, RI and Raymond J. Almond of Cooper City, FL, 9 step-grandchildren and 14 step-great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Alden and Emery Gould.

Funeral and Burial will be Private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimers Assn, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906.
