Obituary

Ramond Leighton "Tinker" Cason, 54, of Tifton passed away Friday, September 27, 2002, at Palm Garden of Gainesville in Gainesville, Florida. His funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2002, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Calvin Bobo and the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Mr. Cason was laid to rest at Union Grove Church of God Cemetery in Eldorado.

Dennis McCurdy, Mike Barton, Al Miller, Allen Cason Brian Stephenson, Jimmy Cason, Randall Waldrop, Mike Waldrop, Lee Ball Jr., Ray Woods and Terry Butler served as pallbearers.

Born October 13, 1947, in Colquitt County, Mr. Cason was the son of Mildred Brooks Cason and the late Raymond H. Cason, who passed away in 1987. Before retiring, he was in the concrete business; and he was a member of Union Grove Church of God in Eldorado. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the American Legion.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Cason is survived by one daughter Pamela Cason of Tifton; one sister, Ann Cason of Tifton; and one grandson, Seth Cason.
