Charles P. Magno, 84

Dateline: South Easton, MA

Charles P. Magno, age 84, of South Easton, passed away peacefully, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, April 25, 2024. He was the beloved husband of thirty-eight years to Susan E. (McNeill) Magno and the loving father of Alessandra Magno of South Easton.

Chet’s foundation of life was his adoring family. Dear brother of Eleesa Sibley, Susan M. Magno and the late Stoughton Richmond. Brother-in-law to Ron Sibley and Michael Foster. Loving uncle to his nieces and nephews.

Chet was a graduate of Harvard University and the Franklin Institute and his working career was as an engineer. His many interests included being a pilot, the owner of a Cessna 140 and parachuting. Chet was also a knowledgeable history buff, an avid reader, loved classical music, farming and will always be remembered for the special place in his heart for animals.

His Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 1st at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt Street (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Mansfield.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday morning, prior to the Funeral Mass, from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Charles’s memory may be made to the Marc A. Susi Scholarship Fund, in care of Morgan & Morgan PC, 175 Derby Street Suite 40, Hingham, MA 02043 or the Matthew Zonghetti Scholarship Fund, 26 King Arthur Way, Mansfield, MA 02048.
