Reideth Mobley Brown, 88, of Tifton passed away Friday, April 19, 2002, at Beverly Health Care in Tifton. A graveside funeral service was held for Mrs. Brown at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2002, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where she was laid to rest. The Rev. Dr. Wayne Roe officiated.
Eric Collins, David Collins, Greg Yawn, Joe Sheffield, Corey Cottle and Chad Cottle served as pallbearers.
Born November 21, 1913, in Cook County, Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late George C. Mobley, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Corbitt Mobley. She was a homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother; and she was a member of Salem Primitive Baptist Church in Adel.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Harvey Clifford "Cliff" Brown of Tifton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie and Paul Spradley and Beth and Donnie Collins, all of Tifton; one brother, George C. Mobley, Jr. of Tallahassee, Florida; two sisters, Catherine Goldwire of Orange, Texas and Mary Frances Willis of Tifton; four grandchildren, Susan Sheffield, Shannon Yawn, David Collins and Eric Collins; three great-grandchildren, Joe William Sheffield, Samuel Sheffield and Elizabeth Yawn; her nieces and nephews, Marianna Willis Cottle of Tifton, Jane Mobley Lowe of Virginia, Jerry Goldwire and Ronnie Goldwire, both of Texas, George Mobley, III of Ohio and Gene Malcolm of Cobb; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
