Sadie Leone Brady Brogdon, 88, of Tifton passed away Monday, July 8, 2002, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2002, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Kelsie Brady officiating. Mrs. Brogdon was laid to rest at Springhill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Berrien County.
Mrs. Brogdon's grandsons served as pallbearers.
born May 10, 1914, in Polk County, Florida, Mrs. Brogdon was the daughter of the late Kelsie Brady and Ada Owens Brady. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Brogdon, who passed away in 1968; three brothers; and five sisters. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of Springhill Primitive Baptist Church in Berrien County.
Mrs. Brogdon is survived by three sons, Otis Brogdon of Tifton, Tillman Brogdon of Mississippi and Ralph Brogdon of Alapaha; nine grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
