Nellie Jane Bragg Brady, 91, of Cuthbert passed away Monday. April 15, 2002. at Joe Ann Bergin Nursing Home in Cuthbert. Her funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2002, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. David Murphy officiating. Mrs. Brady was laid to rest at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Tifton.
Mrs. Brady's grandchildren served as pallbearers.
Born November 23, 1910, in Franklin County, Mrs. Brady was the daughter of the late Joseph J. Bragg and Tillie Pearson Bragg. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John A. Brady, who passed away in 1965; one son, M. G. Brady; and one grandson, Michael Brady. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Tifton.
Mrs. Brady is survived by three sons, Gary Brady of Sylvester, Jones Brady of Cuthbert and Paul Brady of Gainesville, Florida; one sister, Allie Bea Fleeman of Bowman; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
