Alden Waynewright Blount, 56, of Orlando, Florida passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2002, at his residence. A graveside funeral service was held for Mr. Blount at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2002, at Oakey Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Berrien County, where he was laid to rest. The Rev. Lamar Harris officiated.
Born June 24, 1945, in Lakeland, Florida, Mr. Blount was the son of B. J. Blount and Audrey Stembridge Blount of Lenox. He was a maintenance technician; and he was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Blount is survived by his wife, Ellen Hampton Blount of Orlando, Florida; three sons, William Larrimore and Rodney Blount, both of Orlando, Florida and Michael Cughlin of Panama City, Florida; three daughters, Cindy Toney of Orlando, Florida, and Tina Blount and Rhonda Lawton, both of Winter Park, Florida; one brother, Gary Blount of Lenox; and nine grandchildren.
