Fannie Mae Webb Willett, 89, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2003, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2003, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Freddie Thomas officiating. Mrs. Willett was laid to rest at Eldorado Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Willett's grandsons served as pallbearers.
Born February 6, 1914, in Marion County, Alabama, Mrs. Willett was the daughter of the late Albert Webb, Sr. and Roe Chester Sanderson Webb. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Leonard Willett, who passed in 1979; two brothers; and one sister. She was a homemaker; and she was a member Springhill Baptist Church in Tifton.
Mrs. Willett is survived by five daughters and four sons-in-law, Lisa and Tony West and Virginia and Curtis Kennedy, all of Chula, Loraine and Rayno Aque of Ocilla, Etheleane Smith of Jacksonville, Florida and Jean and Joe Bridges of Guin, Alabama; four brothers, Albert Webb, Jr. and Robert Webb, both of Guin, Alabama, Virshel Webb of Ocala, Florida and Woodrow Webb of Marion, Arkansas; one sister, Corrine Pritchard of Ocala, Florida; sixteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
