Cornelia "Sis" Lovett Watson, 86, Ocala, Florida, formerly of Lenox passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2003, at Sylvia's Hospice House in Ocala, Florida. Her funeral service was held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2003, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Bill Barksdale officiating. Ms. Watson was laid to rest at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Berrien County.
Ms. Watson's family members served as pallbearers.
Born September 18, 1916, in Berrien County, Ms. Watson was the daughter of the late Preacher Lovett and Mary Lovett. She was a retired nurse's assistant.
Ms. Watson is survived by one son, Ken Watson of Tifton; two daughters, Mary Grady of Ocala, Florid and Margaret Helgesen of San Diego, California; two sisters, Viola Bailey of Valdosta and Eva Bullard of Adel, ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
