George L. Daudelin III
... musician, worked for G.E. and Airex; 57
TEWKSBURY - George L. Daudelin III, age 57, an accomplished musician, and resident of West
Tewksbury, died Sunday morning, July 16, at his Tewksbury home after a lengthy illness. He was
the husband of Cecelia “Ann” (McLaughlin)(Marr) Daudelin, with whom he would have
celebrated a 28th wedding anniversary this August 27th.
He was born in Lowell, March 3, 1949, the son of the late George and Marguerite (Furey)
Daudelin Jr. He was raised in Lowell, and graduated from Keith Academy.
He was employed by General Electric in Lowell as an operator in the manufacture of wire
products. He later worked for Airex in Lowell, and later Hudson, NH.
He was an accomplished musician who played drums. He attended Berkeley College of Music in
Boston, and in his youth, appeared on the Community Auditions television talent show.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two step-daughters and sons-in-law, Geraldine (Marr)
Christiansen and her husband Todd of Nashua, and Maureen Marr-Karlberg and her husband
Ronald of Lowell; three grandchildren, Justin, Heather and Jeremy Booth all of Lowell.
He was also the brother of the late Patricia Daudelin.

His funeral service was held Thursday evening, July 20, in the funeral home. Memorials to the National Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Ave., Suite 2, Norwood,
MA 02062 will be appreciated.
