SUTTON___Ruth T. (Statkus) Mange, 53, of 51 Town Farm Rd., died Saturday July 15 in her home.
She leaves her husband of 30 years, George M. Mange, two sons, Christopher M. Mange of Sutton and Matthew G. Mange of Millbury; a brother, John G. Statkus of California; a sister, Donna A. Pellerin of Worcester; and nephews and nieces. She was born in Rochdale, England, a daughter of Jurgis and Saliomeja (Mileris) Statkus and lived in Worcester before coming to Sutton 20 years ago.
Mrs. Mange was a Registered Nurse and worked 14 years for UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester. She was a graduate of Holy Name Central Catholic High School, Worcester and received her nursing degree from Quinsigamond Community College, Worcester.
Ruth was a member of St. Mark’s Church, the Lithuanian Charitable Society, the Lithuanian Scouts and the Massachusetts Nurses Association. She enjoyed traveling especially to the White Mountains and Cape Cod.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday July 19 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., Worcester, with a Mass at 12 NOON in St. Casimir Church, 41 Providence St., Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
