NEW BRUNSWICK- It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Paul Harrison Wood on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in Portland, ME, on November 13, 1945, he was the son of the late Harrison and Eleanor (Robinson) Wood. Paul enjoyed spending time snowmobiling in the winter and being out on his boat in the summers.
Paul is survived by his partner in life, Margaret Small; brother-in-law Eldon “Nick” Nickerson; nieces Sandi and Jennifer Nickerson, and nephew Michael Nickerson. Along with his parents, Paul was predeceased by his wife Colleen Wood and his sister Janice Nickerson.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Bobby’s Hospice for their compassion, kindness and care of Paul during his time there.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424). In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services at this time.
Burial will be at Steep Falls Cemetery later in the spring and have been entrusted to Poitras, Neal & York Funeral Home, Cornish, www.mainefuneral.com
