Warren E. Curney of Scituate, 77, on July 15th at South Shore Hospital. Survived by his beloved wife Anne "Pat" (Panetta) Curney of Scituate. Father of Cynthia "Cindy" Curney of N. Weymouth, Cheryl McElwee of Wolfeboro, NH and Corinne Smith of Milwaukie, OR. Brother of Albert Curney of N. Weymouth. He also leaves 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Mr. Curney worked at the Quincy Shipyard before becoming a commercial fisherman out of Scituate where he has lived for the past 50 years. He enjoyed hunting and bass fishing. A veteran of WWII, he served in the U.S Army. There are no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth on Wednesday July 19th at 10 o'clock. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1115 W. Chestnut St, Brockton, MA 02301.
