In his youth, he played basketball and football at Oakmont HS (1967). He enjoyed waterskiing, snow-skiing & his motorcycle. He loved the ocean but Lake Winnekeag was his true home. He was a great cook & enjoyed feeding a small crowd. He was an avid birdwatcher, playing the harmonica & loved a good lake swim.
He went to UMASS Amherst followed by the Coast guard 1970. He received Honors in helicopter engine repair & was stationed in Hawaii with his then wife (1970-1987), Janis Price (Lang), the mother of his 3 children. He graduated from National Chiropractic college in 1976 and moved to Cape Cod to start his practice. He also was quite a craftsman & built many lovely homes in Ashburnham. He was re-married to Jeanne Price (1987-2005), she has three children.
He enjoyed researching and was at the forefront of holistic health and natural remedies. He was as smart as he was opinionated and stubborn. He was proud of & thankful for his family & how they cared for him in his later years. I am sure he would be very proud knowing how they continue to care for each other. G-pop , dad , I wish for you to rest in peace.
There will be a private service later this year.
