David Barnes (57) of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 18, 2024, at Brockton Health Center after a battle with a lengthy illness.
David was the son of the late David Barnes and Noreen Dion of Fall River, MA.
David leaves his legacy of love, laughter, and many memories with his best friend and son Collin Boissonneault, his sister, Shelley Ducharme and her husband Gary of Seekonk, his sister Jaimie Barnes of Westport, his step sister Stephanie Perry and her husband David Oliveira of fall river, and his step brother John Perry Jr, of Westport. He leaves his memory with his many cousins, nephew’s Kyle Ducharme of Seekonk, Retief Van Biljon of Westport, and a great nephew Zekeyl Ducharme of Seekonk. David will be truly missed by his companion and loving dog Cooper.
David had many past times and hobbies, but he could always be found with a pole in his hand, and a fish on his line, above all else his greatest past time if you asked anyone would be fishing in the peace of nature, but his favorite person to share this time with was his son and best friend Collin. David also enjoyed music, friends, he enjoyed cooking, spending time around the firepit with friends, and the great outdoors! David was a simple guy who did not need much to be happy, as long as he had his family and friends by his side.
Services are private and are entrusted into the care of Southcoast Funeral Home.
