MOULTONBOROUGH ---- Lynn Ann Diltz (Allaire), 67, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024, in the comfort of her home.
Lynn grew up in Westboro, Massachusetts where she was a member of the First Congregational Church of Westboro. She was also a graduate of Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester, MA and worked for the Data General Corporation for 10 years before moving up to New Hampshire with her family in 1985. She loved her home in NH and was happy she was able to raise her family here.
Lynn always enjoyed reading a good book, and especially reading to her grandchildren, who loved her dearly. She also had a passion for cooking and blessed us all with delightful meals every day. She enjoyed cooking so much that it led her to the Moultonborough senior meals program. She felt honored to be able to share her special talent with the senior residents of Moultonborough. She retired from Meals on Wheels in 2022. She also had a fulfilling career for many years at Moultonborough Central School. Lynn happily filled various roles at the school while her children were growing up and attending the school.
Her love for her family could not be measured, and her 11 grandchildren brought her the greatest joy in her life.
Lynn was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Nancy Allaire, and her husband Jeffery Diltz. She is survived by her three siblings; Jayne, Patrice and Thomas, her children; Andrew, Matthew, and Kate, her stepdaughters Andrea and Samantha, her nieces Lisa and Grace, and her grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024, from11:00am-1:00pm in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
