Paul J. Yunes, Jr., age 29, of Concord, NH, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Concord Hospital. Born on February 22, 1995, in Lebanon, NH, he was the beloved son of Donna (Dwyer) Yunes and the late Paul J. Yunes, Sr. Paul lived the last seven years in Concord after spending 22 years in Derry, where his gentle nature and cheerful spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Paul was a beacon of joy and warmth, fondly remembered as "a love" by everyone around him. He adored watching SpongeBob SquarePants and was captivated by the characters and melodies of Disney movies. A true New Englander, his room was decorated with posters of his favorite teams, the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. A treasured family memory is watching a game at Fenway Park, an experience we will remember and reminisce about for years to come.
While Paul's travels with his family took him across Europe, including to Germany, Belgium, Sweden, and France, it was his presence that created special connections with families affected by Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation. These journeys were meaningful, offering his family the opportunity to forge deep bonds with others who share similar life experiences, all centered around their care and love for Paul.
Paul was the heart of his family and deeply cherished by his late grandmother, Gale H. Dwyer, and his father, Paul Yunes, Sr. He is survived by his devoted mother, Donna Yunes, his loving sisters, Erin Yunes and Katelyn Van Doorn, and nephews Luca and Marcel, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service to celebrate Paul’s life will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 10:30 AM, calling hours will begin at 9:00 AM, at Peabody Funeral Home & Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry Road, East Derry, NH.
