Clarimundo Dos Reis, age 92, of Brockton, passed away on April 12, 2024, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of the late Laura (Leca) Dos Reis.
Born and raised in Brava, Cape Verde, he was the son of the late Ana Joao Dos Reis.
He worked as a machine operator for the Polaroid Company over twenty years. An avid fisherman, he enjoyed taking care of animals and tending to his vegetable garden. Clarimundo will be remembered for his generosity, his work ethic, and for his sense of humor. He was a loving and caring person who was devoted to his family and friends.
Mr. Dos Reis leaves his children, Ana Dos Reis, John Dos Reis, Elie Dos Reis, Oliver Dos Reis, Candy Dos Reis, Henri Dos Reis, Jack Dos Reis, Clarimundo Dos Reis, Steve Dos Reis, John Dos Reis, and Cherry Penha; his siblings, Idalia De Burgo and Joaquin Dos Reis; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late John Dos Reis.
Visiting hours will be on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. A gathering for his funeral procession will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 11:30 am, for a funeral service beginning at 12:00 pm, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, N. Cary Street, Brockton.
