Leicester – Jeffrey A. Levasseur, 49, of Leicester, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, in Saint Vincent Hospital with his family by his side.
Jeff was born in Worcester, son of the late Raymond and Patricia (Chapman) Levasseur. He is survived by his two loving daughters, Laura Levasseur of North Brookfield and Casey Levasseur of Brookfield; a brother, Raymond Levasseur Jr. of Auburn; a sister, Dawn Levasseur of Worcester; his girlfriend and companion, Jodi Wells of Leicester; a grandson, Miles Thibeault; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also predeceased by a daughter, Brianna Levasseur.
Jeff attended Burncoat High School in Worcester and then continued his education, receiving a bachelor’s degree from Everest College while majoring in criminal justice.
He worked as a construction supervisor for the Eversource Company and previously worked as a machine operator for the Poly Vinyl Company.
Jeff had a love for camping and would never pass up the opportunity to take a trip to the beach. His personality always brought great joy to those around him, and every conversation included some form of laughter. Cooking for others always brought a smile to his face, but he was always the happiest when he was with his grandson, Miles. He cherished the memories that he made with him while they would spend time together.
Jeff will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His kindness, sense of humor, and love for his family will be remembered fondly.
