Donald D. Dalton, age 86, of Mansfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the Ellis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Norwood.
Born in Thief River Falls, Minnesota on July 26, 1937, he was a son of the Walter B. and Ida Pearl (Schucks) Dalton.
Don grew up in Thief River Falls and was a graduate of Thief River Falls High School. He continued his education, receiving a certificate in machine tool operations.
Donald spent the majority of his working career as a skilled machinist. He had a lifelong passion and love for motorcycles and well into his eighties. He also enjoyed being an avid fisherman and spending time with family.
He was pre-deceased by 11 siblings and is survived by several generations of loving nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private and visiting hours are omitted.
